About majors
The Graduate School of Counseling and Psychology is continuously striving to train counseling professionals who understand the complex psychological problems within human beings and provide ways to prevent and overcome them.
The Graduate School of Counseling and Psychology is composed of the Department of Counseling, the Department of Spirituality and Counseling, the Department of Child Counseling, and the Department of Organizational Counseling, each of which is staffed by professors who specialize in psychology and counseling and excellent lecturers who strive to train excellent counseling professionals.
The curriculum of the Graduate School of Counseling and Psychology includes not only the basics of psychology and counseling theory, but also various programs that allow students to experience the actual counseling field, and includes practical training through the operation of the on-campus counseling center to help students acquire both the knowledge and skills necessary for counseling practice. In addition, the Graduate School will provide students with the information and skills necessary to be a counselor in a changing environment, enabling them to be active in the future.
Objectives
Department of Counseling
The Department of Counseling aims to train counseling psychologists through counseling psychology theories and practices that help to understand the human mind, and teaches various counseling and psychotherapy theories, group counseling, counseling interviews and practices, and many other counseling theories and techniques necessary for psychological counseling.
Department of Spirituality Counseling
The Department of Spiritual Counseling aims to train professionals who provide psychological counseling based on spirituality, and students learn various theoretical and practical subjects necessary for psychological counseling, as well as spirituality-related subjects such as spirituality and psychology, self-growth, meditation and counseling.
Department of Child Counseling
The Department of Child Counseling aims to train professionals dedicated to the field of counseling and therapy that diagnoses and treats children's problems from infants to adolescents, as well as parent education and counseling that leads to positive parent-child relationships. To this end, the department provides training in basic areas such as developmental psychology and practical areas for training in child therapy and counseling.
Department of Organizational Counseling
The Department of Organizational Counseling is a graduate school for professionals who have sufficient experience in their field in organizations of various sectors (companies, administrative agencies, military, legal and police organizations, educational institutions, welfare organizations, NGOs, mass media, arts, etc.
